'38 Special

3 notch Century-----Screwing Around-----Projects----Shop Dog

The owner of this 1938 Elgin Special wanted us to rebuild the rear wheel, install ammunition boxes on the rear rack, and install his headlight and speedometer from an army tank.
The headlight and taillight are powered by a tire-driven dynamo, and the speedometer is completely analog. No batteries required!
We replaced the stock incandescent bulb in the headlight with nine LED's. It's energy-efficient, super-bright, and will never burn out.
This bike is an awesome grocery-getter...especially if your typical grocery-run includes zombies...
